- How to sow: The seeds within this selection are best sown in trays of compost if possible. Seedlings can then be pricked out and grown into plugs. When fully rooted, plugs can be planted out into their permanent flowering positions. Alternatively seed can be sown directly onto a carefully prepared weedfree seedbed.
