Upright Hedge Parsley -torilis japonica – grows best on dry soils and is found in hedgerows, open woodland, and grassland as well as along canal paths, and roadside banks. Upright Hedge Parsley is similar in appearance to Cow Parsley but flowers later and has finer leaves. The blooms which are creamy white and often tinged with pink, appear mainly in July and August. Upright Hedge Parsley looks best growing with wildflowers such as Musk Mallow, Meadow Cranesbill and Field Scabious.

How to grow Upright Hedge Parsley Seeds
Upright Hedge Parsley seeds should be sown in autumn, either outside, where they are to flower, or in seed trays and covered lightly with compost. Seed trays should be left outside over winter either in a cold frame or covered with a sheet of glass. Upright Hedge Parsley seeds should normally germinate the following spring after exposure to winter temperatures.
