Wild Candytuft -iberis armara – grows on bare ground in dry soils and full sun where plants attract a wide range of insect life such as Bees, Butterflies and Ladybirds. It is well suited to soils that contain chalk or limestone and in gardens can be grown on patches of well-drained bare soil. Wild Candytuft has clusters of white flowers that appear in July and August. Plants looks best growing with other cornfield annuals such as Lesser Snapdragon, Pheasant’s eye, Corn Buttercups, Cornflowers and Poppies.
